KAYAK ACADEMY
True kayak addicts can become a member of the Kayak Academy. Trips are organised regularly, with home-grown coaches or special guests. During Kayak Academy events participants are immersed in the greater kayaking family of Ireland, and often, life-long friendships are made during these trips. Each year, Clash Fest provides an opportunity for Academy members and their family to go on an overnight kayak camping trip together and try different styles of kayaking, canoeing and rafting.

COACHING & TRAINING
GoPaddle.ie provides training and assessments for Canoeing Ireland qualifications from level I to IV. Beginners courses (Level I) run over six three hour sessions (evening or weekend), and include the Canoeing Ireland level I assessment. KAYAK TRIPS ABROAD
More experienced kayakers who have learned to paddle on whitewater may be interested in the annual trip to Montenegro. Pristine blue-green water, warm weather and beautiful riverscapes combine with the innate hospitality and quirkiness of the local Montenegrins to offer a really unique experience.
